Popping in real quick with this week’s 2B and another Texture Tuesday
From above… What a great perspective. I love photographing flowers from under, behind, . . . and above.
A little about the process: I used Kim’s KK_Lisa with blend mode multiply 100% and KK_Lisa with blend mode Screen 90%. I definitely wasn’t feeling the black background (I think I was still in the dream-like state of mind) and wanted to keep the green leaves and the depth they created. But I wasn’t in the mood to take the time to mask & cut the background. By playing with the blending modes, I was able to save a lot of time and keep the soft effect of the original.
And now … Texture Tuesday and the Dream-Like Edition
These are gorgeous. I love your use of texture!
It turned out beautiful. I love the colors and how you achieved the soft blur of the background.
Beautifully done – who would have known the original had such a dark background!
Very, very pretty!
They are beautiful.. So soft and pretty..
Beautiful work! I am so impressed that you were able to lighten the photo like that.
Wonderful, I really like the text overlay.

Beautiful image and processing. Love the center of the rose.

Very nice!! I will have to try my hand at lightening my dark photos as well! These are all so beautiful! First visit from Kim’s site!
Wow, this is really pretty! I have quite a lot of photos with that dark background and will have to try your techniques to lighten them.
